Brand New Saint Michael’s Chair installed in Saint Michael’s Villa
We worked with Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York to create our brand new Saint Michael’s chair for their client, St. Michael’s Villa’s residential spaces. Our longtime friends at Robert Stern came to us looking for a chair similar to our already existing Kennedy chair, but wanted something with lower arms to fit under their desks.
The Kennedy Chair was first created for the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 2008. The chair is modeled after a bank of England style with a more contemporary feel to it. With its cushioned upholstered back, the Kennedy Chair is comfortable and perfect for any dining or library venue. Saint Michael’s Villa recognized the Kennedy’s outstanding value and timelessness and were excited to install the Kennedy with lowered arms…The Saint Michael’s Chair.

Many private clubs, academies, and universities over the years have praised the Kennedy for its durability, elegance, and comfort.
We installed the Kennedy into the grill room of Southampton Golf Club in New York in 2012 and the dining space of Orinda Country Club located in the San Francisco Bay in 2014. The Kennedy Chair is adored by staff and members to this day. The Kennedy Chair also suits school spaces; we installed the Kennedy into the study spaces of the Groton School in 2015 for study spaces and Indiana University’s Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Lastly, the Kennedy has most recently and successfully been installed into Princeton Windrows, a luxury senior living community in Princeton, New Jersey 2019.
Like the Kennedy Chair, we know the new Saint Michael’s will provide exceptional elegance and comfort to any venue that will stand out for decades to come.
