How may I obtain a price or quote for chairs?

Please call us at (978) 827-3103 or email us at sales@eustischair.com. Pricing varies based on the several factors including chair model, order quantities, hardwood specie, and fabric selection. We will be happy to provide you a quote.

Can I get a Sample Chair?

We send sample chairs to qualified prospects, free of charge. In most situations, we prefer to have you see and sit in a sample chair before you order.

What is the order process?

Pick your style of chair from our website or binder, and speak with one of our chair experts to be sure the chairs you like match the seating needs of your space. Once we have identified the right chairs for your project, we will send you sample chairs to test and review, at our cost. Once you have chosen your chair, we will prepare a written proposal, including delivery cost. You can choose stain color and fabric either before or after you place your order. Lead time for completion varies from 8-12 weeks.

How long will it take to manufacture my chairs?

A standard chair order takes between 8 and 10 weeks to manufacture. Lead times can be longer during the summer, or on more complex orders.

How much is freight to ship my chairs?

Packaging & delivery costs vary greatly based on the quantity of chairs ordered and the delivery location, but typically run 5-10% of chair price. We will be happy to provide you a delivery quote when you are ready.

Can Eustis Chairs meet CAL 117 flammability standards?

Yes! All of the cushion seats and backs on our chairs are designed to meet CAL 117 standards based on our standard foam and construction process.

Can Eustis Chairs Meet CAL 133 flammability standards?

Yes! We can add a special fire resistant fabric barrier to your cushion seats and backs and complete the required burn test to meet CAL 133 flammability standards.

What is the warranty for Eustis Chairs?

All Eustis Chair models come with a 10 year warranty against defects in material and workmanship. In addition, chair models manufactured with the patented Eustis Joint® come with a 20 year warranty against joint failure.

How high can I stack my Eustis Chairs?

Most of our stacking hardwood chairs stack 6-8 high. We have a few models designed for more frequent change-overs that stack 8-10 high.

Do we need a dolly for our chairs?

We have created a custom hand truck to move stacks of Eustis Chairs around your facility. We recommend one Transporter per 100 chairs. No dollies are required for storage.

What type of wood does Eustis Chair use?

We use whatever hardwood specie our customers require, as long as it meets our standards for strength and durability. Common hardwood species include Ash, Beech, Cherry, Hard Maple, Red Oak, White Oak, and Walnut.

What fabric can I choose for my upholstered chairs?

You can use any fabric that is commercially available and suitable for use on chair seats.

Are wood-seat chairs available with a cushioned seat?

Yes. All but a few Eustis Chairs are available with either a wood seat, scooped and sanded for superior comfort, or a cushion seat, covered in a fabric of your choice.

What wood stains colors do you offer?

We offer any stain color you want. We offer a handful of “standard” colors that have proven popular, or we will create a custom color, including to match a stain sample provided by you. Please refer to our Wood Finish information sheets.

Can you match the stain of my tables or millwork?

Yes, we frequently match tables manufactured by other companies, as well as older tables that have a few decades of life left in them; we can also match your millwork. There is no extra charge for a custom stain color.

What type of finish does Eustis Chair use?

We use a durable Conversion Varnish which is hard enough to stand up to institutional use, and also flexible enough to remain on the wood on lesser dings. We have not yet found a water-soluble finish that we feel can meet the durability standards of chairs in our applications.

What bar stool and counter stool heights do you offer?

Our barstools are designed for bar-height use, with a seating height at 30”. We also offer the same barstools at counter height, with a seating height of 24”. Custom heights can be arranged where necessary.

What type of chair glides do you recommend?

Our standard glide is a heavy-duty cushioned steel glide, which we recommend for most floors, including wood and other hard floors. When requested, we also offer a nylon glide for less noise, a domed plastic glide for carpet-only floors, and a felt glide for reduced noise and scratching (but with frequent maintenance).

Do you provide replacement glides?

If you cannot find replacement glides online or through your normal maintenance suppliers, please contact us at (978) 827-3013 or by our email. We will be happy to help you find a source for replacement glides.

Can I add castors to your chairs?

Yes! We have engineered a very durable set of castors which can be added to many Eustis Chair models, either on the front legs only, or on all four legs.

Do you offer a two or three position sled for your chairs?

We have several models in our line that include a 2-position sled or a 3-position sled.

Do you offer chairs with book or bible holders?

Yes, we can add a book holder to many of our chairs.

Only some of the chairs are pictured with arms or tablet-arms. Can I add arms or a tablet-arm to any chair?

With just a few exceptions, all Eustis Chairs are available with arms. We can also add a tablet arm to many of our classroom and library chairs.

How should I care for and maintain my Eustis Chair?

Eustis Chair takes great pride to build and deliver the highest quality hardwood chairs available. Please refer to our Care and Maintenance Guide.

Does Eustis Chair offer logo, seal, and crest engraving?

Yes, we offer laser engraving to apply your school’s logo, seal, or crest on a desired portion of your Eustis Chairs, usually either on the Top Back or on a Back Splat.

Can stacking chairs be ganged together?

Most of our stacking hardwood chair models can be ordered with a ganging mechanism. Speak with our chair experts about which models of stacking chairs are well suited to ganging

What does C.O.M and C.O.L. mean?

The acronym C.O.M. refers to customer's own materials and C.O.L refers to customer's own leather. Every Eustis Chair is sold C.O.M or C.O.L. meaning that you can select any commercially available fabric, vinyl, or leather for your chairs. We are also happy to help you select your fabric or leather. Contact us to discuss options.
