The Cotswold

Traditional Dining and Library Chairs

The Cotswold chair by Eustis Chair is an antique reproduction chair. The style of this particular dining and library chair dates all the way back to the 1600s! This style of furniture originated in the Cotswold region of England. That’s how the chair got it’s fabulous name.

The front stretcher beam of most chairs is absent of aesthetic detail. However, that is not the case in this chair. The stretcher beams are formed into a ball turning style with a smooth finish. Furthermore, this chair has wonderfully crafted spindle front legs. The spindle style is a call back to the Baroque era. However, the joints on this chair are guaranteed not to break for decades to come. The squared high chair back provides shoulder comfort right where you need it most.
