Traditional Utility Chair
Phillips Exeter Academy contacted Eustis Chair. They needed a comfortable wood chair with arms. This chair would go in their faculty meeting room. They first looked at the Charleston chair by Eustis Chair. However, their faculty found the Charleston’s back to be a bit too straight.
We turned to our fantastic designers to see what we could do to make the chair meet their unique needs. We worked on some potential designs. In the end, the design that won our eased the back by three degrees. We also made the arms of the chair slightly wider. This created the supremely comfortable Elting Room chair.
