Contemporary Bar Stool
Duke University requested our third bar stool design in 2015 for the renovation of East Marketplace dining hall. We designed the Jenkins bar stool to match our Jenkins Chair, which also marks our first bar stool with an upholstered back. This is one of our most popular bar stool options; of course, your selected upholstery dramatically affects the look of the chair to best meld with the room.
Contemporary Classroom and Library Chairs
We developed the Dartmouth chair for the University of Massachusetts; they liked the comfort and elegance of our Jenkins chair, but didn’t care for its fabric back. We crafted thin spindles for a contemporary feel, closely grouped together with spacing on either side. The Dartmouth chair still has the narrow rails and gentle curves that create an elegant and almost delicate look. However, the steel-and-epoxy Eustis Joints® are anything but delicate, and come with a 20 year warranty. And the comfort is second to none!
This styling holds clean lines, plenty of support in the back, and a very comfortable seat. What’s more, the Jenkins barstool includes our proprietary Eustis Joint®, and comes with a 20 year warranty against joint failure.
