U of Georgia Merrimac Chair
Wood Event Chairs
Wood event chairs galore! For a Colonial Revival homestead in the heart of the South, Eustis Chair was perfect! Therefore, the University of Georgia requested one hundred of our Merrimac chairs for their new project. The chairs found their home in the newly renovated Quarters A building. In addition, Hill Crest Estate is an alternative name for the building. Quarters A was built around the turn of the century. Furthermore, Queen Anne architectural influences were the inspiration the new building. The building operated as everything from a private residence to the Commanding Officer’s Quarters for the U.S. Navy. Above all, today it serves as a stunning venue for receptions, conferences, and other special events on UGA’s striking campus in Athens.
Quarters A highly anticipated the arrival of their new chairs. Our wood event chairs compliment their space perfectly. The chairs also matched the University of Georgia’s Southern-style architecture and design. When we first spoke with UGA in 2017, they requested chairs that had both a special, elegant look to them. Aditionlly, they wanted the chairs to stack. The Merrimac – along with the rest of our stackable chair line – can handle it all. Our stacking chairs are perfect for impeccable dining experiences, superb presentation, and ease of convenience! UGA is thrilled with their purchase. University of Georgia admires their new chairs. Furthermore, their new facility looks forward to many decades of weddings, presidential functions, and student-sponsored events in their future.
