Wood Bar Stool
The designers at Carleton College contacted Eustis Chair. They wanted to purchase wood bar stools for their dining hall renovation. They needed a bar stool to match the Arts & Crafts look of the Novato chairs they ordered from Eustis Chair. We came up with a design. The Novato Bar Stool is the end result. Carleton College needed the barstools to be durable enough to withstand lots of foot traffic. The bar stools were built for one of their most high use spaces on campus. Not surprisingly, the chairs hold up perfectly to the daily wear and tear from the student’s use in the dining halls. Made with the same pinned mortise & tenon construction as all of our stretcher chairs, this addition to our line is as comfortable as it is elegant and durable. In fact, our chairs are the most durable hardwood chairs on the market.
The Novato Bar Stool
Just like its namesake side chair, the Novato bar stool has a flat back support. It also has an eased back seating angle for additional comfort. It also has ample space on the top rail for crest or logo engravings. This bar stool, and every chair and bar stool in our line is available in any hardwood species, upholstered seat, and arm and side option. The durability and classic design are hard to beat!
