Davenport Dining Hall

Yale University Dining Chairs

Davenport Dining Hall is located at Yale University. Accordingly, the room is designed in the typical Georgian style. For example, the building has a Gothic facade with elegant interior wood paneling. The Waterford chandeliers look amazing under the white, round, vaulted ceiling. Yale University had chairs in the room prior to working with us, but they did not last. Yale knew who to call for replacement chairs. Eustis Chair manufactures custom chairs that last a lifetime. We replaced Yale’s broken chairs which were similar in design. Yale University Dining Chairs from Eustis Chair to the rescue!

We brought 200 Ivy League university dining hall chairs to their campus for delivery. This marks Eustis Chair’s third overall chair project with Yale University. This is our first dining hall chair project on their campus. We look forward to many more in the future.

Finally, according to their website:

  • Built in 1933, Davenport College is named after well-known Puritan and New Haven founder John Davenport.
  • The college’s mascot, a 400-pound carved redwood gnome donated by a former alumnus, guards the dining hall.
  • Well-known Davenport alumni include former Presidents George W. and George H.W. Bush

We look forward to working with Yale again soon!
