Carleton Novato Chairs
Carleton College, in Northfield, Minnesota, has about 2000 students on campus. The town of Northfield has about 20,000 residents total. The college is only 40 miles to St. Paul and Minneapolis. They have students from all 50 states on campus. The college offers 33 majors and over 1000 classes, which is a lot of offerings for a college this size. The college describes their model as “a true Liberal Arts education.” The college has a lot to be proud of. We are certain they are also proud of their newest dining hall. This dining hall renovation includes a bar stool, side chair, and arm chair order by Eustis Chair.
Today the college issued a purchase order for Novato chairs. They also decided to purchase a custom Novato wood bar stool for their dining hall renovation. This project finishes in the late summer time. College administrators considered a shorter and less elegant chair. Then they recognized the visual impact of these distinctive chairs. The durability of our pinned mortise & tenon construction is an added bonus too. In short, this renovation will exceed their wildest expectations.
