Churches and chapels across the United States are now making the switch from standard pews to stacking hardwood chairs. Standard pews are uncomfortable and mobile. However, stacking hardwood chairs are perfect for storage and ease in set up and take down for facility staff. Stacking chairs can also be completely customized. We allow institutions to chose the model, hardwood, stain, and upholstery.
Phillips Exeter Academy reached out with an exciting renovation project. They were first introduced to the elegance and durability of Eustis Chair in 2002. We supplied 300 stacking church chairs for Phillips Church. Committee members, students, and staff loved our chairs and praised them for their versatility. 10 years later, they came to us for a chair for their renovation of the Elting Room located in Phillips Hall. The new Elting Room chair was designed for unmatched comfort, and durability. Comfort was the primary consideration for this special room where the faculty meets, sometimes for hours at a time. Therefore, the stacking chairs needed to be of extreme comfort. The Elting Room chair has more eased back,. In addition, the chair has wider arms. It was one of our most comfortable chairs. We hope to work with Phillips Exeter Academy in the future!
