The University Club chair is a Chippendale-inspired construction. In fact, it is both palatial and stackable. Its woodworking composition blends Chippendale-era style with Renaissance- and Rococo-era ideals. Design elements include harmonious decoration, represented best in the rear rail via rolling arcs and chiseled touches. These details preserve sloping carving detail, drawing the eye to the diamond near the top of the crowning slat.
The University Club
Our past clients have handpicked the University Club – or its 10-60 iteration – to enrich their Romanesque hall ornamentation. This chair gives our function room customers an elegant alternative to our earlier design, the King & Prince. Like the King & Prince, this chair is engineered with our proprietary Eustis Joint®. Moreover, our joints are the strongest constructions on the market. To craft our chairs, we inject steel rods and retrograde epoxy into the joints for added stability. We are so confident in our joinery that all of our chairs with a Eustis Joint come with a 20-year warranty. What’s more, the University Club stacks up to 8 chairs high, making them very easy to move and store. Your facility or event staff will love us!
