We chose the elegant Cross Campus chair, designed for Yale University, as one of our first wood tablet chairs. This is a classic application for our proprietary Eustis Joint®, and we were able to engineer a tablet arm that will stand up to decades of hard use in an academic setting.
The elegant back rails embody both excellent back support and breakage resistance. The stretchers near the bottom of the chair are a common practice in woodworking; traditionally, they were the cornerstone for a chair’s overall endurance. Every piece of our wood tablet chairs is made to withstand whatever comes its way. The Eustis Joint, which takes advantage of steel rods and space age epoxy, makes the joints stronger than the wood itself. And all that durability comes in an elegant and functional package!
